There are things I’ve carried for years — words I never said, feelings I never shared, forgiveness I never gave myself.
Some of them belonged to moments I thought I’d moved past.
Others were whispers I tucked away when life got too loud.
So I decided to write them down.
Not as perfect essays or tidy devotionals — but as letters.
Letters to my younger self.
To my anxiety.
To my faith.
To love.
And to my daughter — the future, the reason, the hope.

🍂 The Golden Glow of Fall 🍂

There’s something so peaceful about the way fall light filters through the trees. It’s softer, warmer, and somehow carries a little bit of magic with it. These photos remind me of how the world begins to slow down this time of year — when the greens of summer fade into golden yellows, deep ambers, and quiet browns.

We spent the afternoon just enjoying that shift in the season — taking a ride together, laughing, exploring, and noticing all the little things that make fall so beautiful. The boys were looking around, full of energy and curiosity, and we found ourselves smiling at how simple joy can be when you’re surrounded by nature and each other.

There’s something about fall that always makes me feel grateful. Maybe it’s the crisp air, or the way the sun hangs low in the sky, wrapping everything in a golden haze. Or maybe it’s just the reminder that time moves fast — and it’s these moments, these small family adventures, that truly matter.

The crunch of leaves under our wheels, the sparkle of light on the river, the laughter echoing between the trees — it all felt like a gentle reminder to slow down and take it in.

As the seasons change, I’m reminded that life does too. But some things stay constant: love, laughter, and the people who make every season feel like home. 💛🍁

Halloween 👻

One of my favorite holidays! If I had to put them in order, it would be Christmas, Halloween, Easter.

My grandparents' house was always the hub of Halloween activity when I was growing up. My grandfather's tradition of scaring trick-or-treaters from the porch has left a lasting impression on me, evoking warm feelings whenever I decorate my yard for the holiday.🥰

Happy Sunday @everyone! It’s the perfect lay around day with all this rain 🌧️ in my opinion we needed it!

💥Authenticity; what does it mean to you? I guess to me, it means being fully ourselves. The good the bad & the ugly-without feeling guilty about how we are perceived by others. I’ve been thinking a lot about my past experiences when I chose to be someone I wasn’t & where it got me. I feel like we all put on a mask in life to get us through an event or our job - and it’s exhausting.

🕶️ authentic living means we don’t have to try too hard to be accepted by others- we let the ones stay who gravitate toward us while being real and say ✌️ to the ones who find us “too much”.

💋When I made the choice to go live without hair & makeup 💄 it was a biggie for me but I made the choice. That’s who I am, I am makeup free 90% of the time - because I really do prefer a clean face. While I LOVE putting it on when I do wear it, it isn’t a job that I HAVE to do everyday.

🤍Being authentic is a choice, a choice a lot of people are afraid to make. I choose to let people see and know all of me! It truly brings me joy that no matter how many likes or comments I get, I was real.

🌈 In the long run, the Universe 🌍 will return the blessings to me ten fold!
